Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi , Thank you for earlier responses, will someone please advise on what happens during the first hearing on divorce case in the family court?.Also is there any way of finding out if the respondent has received the legal notice?.If my husband has filed for the custody of my daughter who is 11 years old .Will he be able to take her away from me?My daughter is currently living with me and does not want to be with her father.Can I also file for permanent custody? My first hearing is on Monday 03/03/2014.My lawyer had told me to file for custody only on Monday since she is anyway living with me.Please advise

you will know if the husband is served only on the date of hearing. even if you file for permanant custody the husband will get visitation right. it would be better if you got the matter referred for mediation and sorted out the issue of custody and divorce amicably. for further query contact 9312411481.
