Legal Question in Family Law in India
My father is missing from last 7 years (from Himachal), we didn't file a complain that time because of some circumstances and unawareness. Now my uncle is not willing us to give land (Uttrakhand) which was in my grandfather's name and he wants us to bring FIR copy.
We went to police station but they are not ready to file a complain as it has been a long time. is there any other way to get that property in my mom's name or in my name? I am a married girl? is it possible to get that land in my name? I heard somewhere that in grandparents property grandchildren have rights.

You may consider filing a civil suit for declaration of your right and for possession of your share.
