Legal Question in Family Law in India

My father passed away without making a will for his flat in Mira Road. However he gave power of attorney to my elder brother. We are 3 siblings 1 brother and 2 sisters.

My brother has sent us NOC papers which he wants us to sign.He is saying that he will give our share after he receives the signed NOC and after selling the flat. Which I doubt.

I want to know what should I do in this case? My sister is willing to sign the NOC but I need my share. What legal action my brother can take if i refuse to sign and ask for my share ?

You do not need to sign any paper on the asking of any of your brothers/sister. You may write directly to the concerned Municipal Corporation and inform about your share in the property. You should insist upon a certificate of your share.
