Legal Question in Family Law in India

My father's sister's stepchildren claiming right in the property inherited by my father and aunt. Here my aunt doesn't have her own child. And there is no property inherited by her from her husband's side. Now,They have put their names in Land property papers (7/12) after her death. Is their claim legal?

Nature of inherited property has to be ascertained first. It is to be fixed whether the property is ancestral or self acquired. It is a technical question.
