Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a female - married in 2010. For the last about five years I separated from my husband by mutual agreement. He has gone abroad and wants divorce by mutual consent without returning to India. Please guide if he can be represented by a GPA.

For mutual consent divorce, both the parties are required to appear in court at least twice. However, if the man is unable to appear in court personally, you may have other options including ex parte divorce, on available grounds including desertion, depending upon your facts situation.
