Legal Question in Family Law in India

one of my friend remarried his lover without divorcing first wife in oct 2007. Later he forged the date of his second marriage showing it 2 years earlier than the actual date . he divorced his first wife on 10th may 2008 and again registered marriage with second wife on 13th may 2008. Details of his date of his first marriage is not known. Is any of his marriage a valid marriage. Can the second wife file a case against his husband for forging dates as she was not aware of his marriage status?

The second wife can file a caseof bigamy against the husband and there are no. of other legal remedies available to both first and second wife.
