my friend's husband has asked her to leave his house with their 1 year old daughter 2 months back. despite of many attempts of patch up he refused, although he did not take any legal steps. what should be the legal step taken to secure her benefits? in case of divorce. what should she do take legal custody of daughter?

in first step go for maintenance along with child and if dower in still un paid so claim it through court.

she has many option to exercise. She can file a case for restitution of conjugal rights, alongwith maintenance for herself and for her kid.
