I m santosh Kumar Hiremath from Gulbarga.....my question is that my grand pa is died and that property trabsfered to my grand mom she has 3 daughters and 3 sun's so in this situation my dad is fighting for property due to my education loan but his mom I mean my grand ma isn't responsing so Wht should we hv to do ? Does my dad has right to get property from his mom ?

1) If a Hindu male died intestate, the property devolves upon all LRs.
2) Its not clear how the property was transferred to the widow ie ur grandma.
3) If the alienation is by way of Will/ Gift or otherwise, from the deceased, his own self-acquired property, then there is not right for others.
4) If ancestral, all the LRs will hv equal share.
