Good evening sir
my friend is an Indian Christian was married on 22-11-2013.Her husband was with her for 2 months and on 6-2-2014 he left house by telling he is going to search for a job in Hyderabad till now he did not come back not even call her and not responding to her calls.he did not show his religion certificates study certificates and baptism certificates to her and her family.after marriage he use to torcher her by words for additional money. please give us advice how to proceed legally with this issue.

First prefer a complaint of man missing. If there is no action by police. Move the High court by filing a writ of hapeas corpus to produce him before court from any illegal custody. After his arrival, if he lives peacefully with you. Lead a happy married life. If he continues the torture, initiate criminal legal action for dowry harassment, domestic violence etc.
