Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am in government service and I do not want to give maintenance to my wife in crpc 125. I want to know that if i do not pay maintenance and court sends me jail for one month then my job may go or not? Is it possible to take leave for one month from job and spend one month in jail and to resume job again? Please guide me. Thanks...
