Legal Question in Family Law in India
My grandfather had 3 children, 1 boy and 2 girls. He didn't leave any will. My father inherited agricultural land and a house from my grandfather. Agricultural land is ancestral but the house was constructed by my grandfather. Neither of my father's sister ever made a claim to the property. My father has 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl(me). Now he wants to sell the agricultural land and give the proceeds to my brother and to transfer the ownership of the house in my brother's favour. What options do I have to claim the property under Hindu succession act?

You are entitled to inherit equally with your brother. Make a demand from your father and if refuses, you may consider filing a civil suit.
