Hi
I got a call from my husband solicitor today in terms of filing divorce in australia.
we both are in australia.
i need to know if i get a divorce in australia will that be enough according to Pakistani law or should i have to apply there as well.
how does that work?

Dear,valid decree from even foreign court dissolving the marriage issued by any competent court is recognized by the courts in Pakistan. Procedure for filing the same with authorities in Pakistan for obtaining the marriage dissolution certificate will be carried on for effectiveness of marriage.
