Hi,

I am a muslim girl married to a Hindu guy for about 4 years, due to physical abuse, non compatibility, I wish to file for a divorce, however my husband does not agree to the same and claims to murder me and my family if i do not agree to stay with him, i have not been staying with him for the past 1 and a half year- as he stays abroad for job purposes, please advise.

Dear client u can file complaint with women cell of police against husband for physical abuse under sec 498 a. u can file domestic violence case and protection order. File divorce on the ground of cruelty. For any legal help call me on 9422611385 or 8446247807

you may file a petition for divorce and in case you want to claim alimony and maintenance, you have appropriate legal remedies.
