Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

My sister got married last Feb in Mumbai. But civil marriage ceremony was in Hong Kong. Currently she has separated from her husband from last Aug. She wants to divorce due to differences between them .my question is can she go ahead and file now and can she do it in Mumbai although marriage is registered on Hong Kong. Is there any waiting period to file for divorce as per Indian law or Hong Kong laws.
