Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am Hindu, married in Apr-2012. I am living separated from my husband past 3 years., due to strained family conditions. During my first 2 years of stay with my in-laws, I have faced emotional and physical trauma. During the period when I was pregnant, my sister-in-law, came to stay with us and this subsequently increased the trauma I had to face. After few months, I moved to my parents house and have been living there since then. We are blessed with a baby girl. However, my husband nor his parents never invited us back to their home. After waiting few months, when we went to their home but they did not allow us and closed the gates on our face. I am hoping and looking forward for a reconciliation in the future.

I am in need of a legal document saying my current status. Is this document called the legal separation document? How can I get it? What is the process for the same and how can I get it? Is it possible for somebody to get the same from a lawyer., without going to court. Basically, I am NOT interested in divorce. However, I will need a legal document that explains and validates my current situation.

As such there is no such document. Judicial separation is also a form of divorce. You have to opt for filing of divorce petition.
