Legal Question in Family Law in India

I, a hindu and my partner who is a jain, want to register our marriage with Hindu marriage act.

But the problem is earlier we had registered our marriage with Special Marriage Act and both of our families do not know about this thing. Now that they have agreed for our marriage, they want to get our marriage registered. But letting them know about our registered marriage could spoil things up. So, is it possible that we can register our marriage with Hindu marriage Act?

once you register your marriage under special marriage Act then you can not register again under other law
