Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am Hindu and I was separated from my husband for past 4 years. Last 3 years I am running a maintenance case against my husband since he was not ready to give me divorce and also not ready to live with me. Now he came for compromise and asking to withdraw my maintenance case. He is not ready to give me any money. Also he says only after withdrawal of my MC case he will file mutual consent. I am in a doubt that after withdrawal he may not file the mutual consent. Please advice what way is safe for me to get divorce. I dint need money.

while filing Mutual divorce, everything will be settled and you may withdraw after filing divorce. No need to withdraw first.
