Legal Question in Family Law in India

We have a house bought by our father in law, after his death it was written to my mother in law, now she is not alive, they don�t have childrens they adopted my husband in 8 months ( he is my mother in laws Sister son) we were taking care of them (in laws). We have all certificates with us. But my father in laws brothers are forcing for that house. currently property is in my mother in laws name whether we have rights to change the property in our name, does they have any rights on this property. if your husband is the adopted son he will have the right on the property
