Legal Question in Family Law in India

My husband who is also now a British citizen divorced his first wife islamic way. He has got the divorce certificate issued by Imarat sharia patna. My question is can he get the divorce certificate of Indian court on the basis of the certificate issued by Imarat sharia in india without going through the normal routine process of divorce. He doesn't have his nikahnama or marriage certificate. How he can get that.

A second divorce certificate may be not be necessary. however, more facts are required for appropriate reply - where marriage took place; what was the mehr and divorce, grounds of divorce, children from marriage, etc.
