Legal Question in Family Law in India

My husband cheated me and left me and my son when he was just 14 days old..I filed 498A against him so now he is coming to court and is ready to pay me in thousands inspite of his being a multimillionaire....I have got papers of the ancestral property that is in his name...please let me know how to claim my and the child's share since he is not ready to give even handsome alimony to live my life with the child....In the 498A case the reconcilation talks are on but he doesnt want to give money....should I now file domestic violence case or any other to claim my share??
