Is a husband liable for wife's debts in India?

She is being taken care of well, but she remains a spendthrift and lavish in her spendings.

Dear Sir

Any individual debt incurred by the Wife, is her Sole Liability and no one other then the Wife is liable for such Debt.

Under the Law, no one is liable for the debt or liability of other.
