Iam Government Servant.
My Marriage Date 30/05/2010.
But, My wife's mother & father forced there familys decesion on my family. same way my wife treated me.
After marriage she will live with me only 5 months. her father & relatives filed false NC in police station & kept his daughter to home. When they kept his daughter from my home my wife will not asking me or my parents iam leaving the home.
Please give me right information about 498 A & Cr.Pc. 125.

If she does not have any independent source of living, she may be entitled to maintenance as per your standard of living at the time of separation.
As far as 498-A is concerned, the law presumes allegations of cruelty as correct unless you may bring sufficient evidence to establish your innocence.
