Legal Question in Family Law in India

ii want to file 498A against my inlaws. Since the police have not cooperated, is it the best way to file through the court. kindly advise.

i am also filing DV claiming my rights for matrimonial residence in view of the tortures given to me and attempt to drive me out by the step mother of my husband. kindly guide.

You may consider approaching the local court having jurisdiction over the police station of your area; the same court may entertain your complaint under D.V.A. for shared residence or a separation resident on your husband's cost.
