Legal Question in Family Law in India

As per Indian law, if gold ornaments are gifted by parents to daughter at the time of wedding, does the gold belong to both daughter and son in law or it belongs only to the daughter?

Has daughter got the sole discretion to liquidate the gold when in need and she need not be in any kind of spousal pressure to sell the gold?

Whatever is gifted to the girl, that become her "istridhan" and she is entitled to use / sell the same as per desire, free from any pressure from her husband or any other relative.
