Legal Question in Family Law in India
My jewellery is in the locker of my in-laws. I have been asking for it since last 5 months but they didnt care about it. Then I made a complaint for my Stridhan against my father in-law in the women cell. Now they have received a letter from the women cell and finally they are ready to give it back to me only on the condition that I sign on the legal documents made by them .I do not trust them so I am avoiding to sign on any such papers made by them but I am ready to sign on papers which will be made by women cell later. So they have asked my father to acknowledge the receipt. My father is ready to sign if they return my jewellery. Even I am ready to withdraw the case from women cell if they return my jewellery but dont want to sign on any of their legal papers. Will my fathers signature would be a valid proof for them? And can they harm me in any way by using these documents signed by my father.
