How long would it take to prove a fake 498a/Dv case. Please give expert advice if the wife s father is in police department as an SI how long would it take for the proceedings to go on. And what happens if the girl is young and their parents want to get her married soon( will she be entitled for maintenance after marriage) ,also is it possible for the husband to work abroad when the case is going on( with his lawyer defending him as a proxy) .

wont it be better if you settled the matter with your wife and took divorce on mutual consent. The litigation is an endless,tiresome and money consuming process wherein you waste precious years of life which can otherwise be used to start life afresh.
