Legal Question in Family Law in India

i m male from Gujarat vadodara and i need divorce from my wife but she is not ready for give me divorce. my education is B- tech and her education is up to 9th std. and she was poor but when i met her from matrimonial site at that time feel that she is good and may be she can understand me but i was wrong after marriage i got news that she was bar dancer and she travel all over the world and doing dance in bar, after that i told her that it is ok but it was ur past and don't do this again.. but she is not happy with my salary and my business touring. she told me that u left ur job and stay at home and i will go to mumbai and i will earn more money then you, she always using bad words( abusive words) to me and my family. my family left me just to avoid this complications, and she have doubt that i m in relationship with my Ex girl friend, actually me and my ex girl friend was talking to each other as friend after marriage even she was talking with her ex boy friend but i never oppose on the same but she have problem with that so i blocked her and i disconnected from all social media but in every 15 days she is making trouble for me, even she attack on me with knife and when i scream so she put knife on her hand and tried to cut her blood lines and telling me that i will die here and send u in jail after that i make official complain in police station but police did not help me they just called her and tell her don't do it so i was disappointed and after that i explain everything to her parents and they told me to help me in this matter but after their interference she don't make any trouble for 2 to 3 days then again she start, and in last month when i called her p[parents so they told me do what ever u want and we will show u what we can do... now tell me how u can help.... help me or i will die..... trust me....
