Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

hi i m second wife of my husband.I have a son who is 2 years old. my husband has his first wife who doesn't have any children of her own. but she has an adopt daughter. my husband and me doesn't want to continue our conjugal life. my husband doesn't want to give divorce nor he wants to continue. I also don't want to continue . if I give divorce what will be the family law ? who will get my son custody if I divorce him?

Thank your for your question.

You have the right to divorce your husband. Being the mother of your son you will be able to keep your son with you till he attains age of seven. After that if you want to get custody of your son and circumstances demand then you may have to file a case for guardianship.
