The answer to this question lies in what is your age, education and profession etc.? And where are you living after leaving father's home?
If you are major and educated lady and living in safe circumstances and/or for some lawful purpose or profession or with some near relative then your father may not force you. However, if you are minor then he may claim your custody under guardian law and take you back.
