Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Maintenance case is decreed @ 8000 per month for my daughter one year before, but I have not filed the execution petition to recover the maintenanceas her father is out of country since long time and seldom comes to Pakistan (normally once in a year for few days). I heard that if execution petition is not filed till 3 years of the date of decree, than the caes is finished and we have to file a fresh maintenance case. is it true? when is the right time to file EP and how can i get maintenence, if father of child is not accessable as he is not in Pakistan and I have no news about him?
