Dear Sir,
As per your query you have two issues:
1- The divorce case
2- The Fate of the properties you had before the divorce
Regarding the divorce itself, it will be ruled by the Maronite Court. We will need to examine the facts of the case to be able to advise on which ground to lodge the divorce claim. You may be able to ask for compensations, amongst whish the refund of a part of the wedding expenses.
Regarding the properties you had before the marriage, they will remain yours, unless you have given her shares of properties during the marriage. In that case you will need to apply for a cancelation case in front of the Civil Court to cancel the donation you made to her.
The same applies to the Bank account: if it is opened in your name alone, she will not be able to claim for any part of it; however, if the account is common, you will need to block the account and file a case to remove her name from this account, provided you prove that the money is yours and that you have added her name after she became your wife.
Hope that the above reply to your questions.
