Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hi,
I married my first cousin(Maternal aunt's Son), 3years back in Arya Samaj Mandir(Mumbai). Our marriage wasn't registered at the registrar's office. It was just the Arya Samaj's cerficate that was the proof for the marraige. I wish to part my way & have a divorce but as confirmed by a lawyer i need to file a petition for nullity of the marriage. Would want to know the documents required for the same. I dont have any marriage certificate with me.
Please help.

as you married your cousin, the marriage is void in case you are a hindu. however, all the facts need to be understood before an action is taken.

Dear client registration of marriage is not necessary to file divorce. Yr marriage photos and certificate issued by mandir is sufficient to establish marriage. Other documents u need to file yr id proof and residential proof. For any legal help call me on 9422611385
