Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi..!! I got married in 2007. Now I want divorce from my husband. I have a kid of 3 years old. The reason for divorce is my husband is not looking after my kid or even me. I also wanted to study but he and his family was against of it. But anyhow I convinced them and came back to Mumbai and did my education. Since that time, he has started being more cruel to me. Sometimes he beats me too. I don't want to stay in in this relationship anymore. I also want custody of my child. But i am not earning right now. And I am visually handicap too. My parents are scared of society. But I really can not bear it anymore. I have few questions.

1. Can I proceed on my own?

2. If yes, is there is NGO which can help me to guide in this?

3. How my earnings will affect to get custody of my child?

I request you to guide me.

Dear client u can file complaint with women cell of police under sec 498 a for physical torture. U can file domestic violence case for mental harassment against him. Custody of child remain with mother up to five years age naturally. For any legal help call me on 9422611385 or 8446247807
