Hi. I got married in a Hindu ceremony in New Delhi in 1998. For the past eight years, my husband and I have been living in Mumbai. We haven't got our marriage registered and would now like to do so. Can I get the marriage registered in Mumbai or will we have to get it done in New Delhi (we were both residents of New Delhi at the time of marriage)? What would be the procedure and how long will it take? Any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

you can get the marriage registered in mumbai too they require marriage pics, card affidavit of gazetted officer who attended the marriage.you can contact the registrars office in mumbai to get further details.
