Legal Question in Family Law in India

I was married to my husband three years back. He had been lying to me since a long time about his family his work and almost every other aspect. Lately for the past 7-8 months he has been taking medicines as 'drugs'. Things between us weren't good since the past 1 and 1/2 half years. I was going through severe mental stress. I was employed in a school. he was employed too but he hardly supported for the living. He always had lots of excuses for not supporting our expenses. He had an affair too that made things worst. He came out of that affair but things couldn't be sorted out. I was asking for since a year but he had simply no answers. Instead he would shout and make a scene in the colony. I decided to leave the city because i was moving to a mental condition where i would kill myself. So 2 months back i left the town but didn't inform him because last march when i told him i want to go away, he forcefully locked me up. Further he told me that i am not suppose to work or go anywhere. Neither can i talk to anyone nor will anyone talk to me or else there will be severe actions taken by him. Now he came to know where i m. and he is in the town. today he came to my workplace and was apologizing. but i have no intention to patch up with him. How should i get out of this situation?? What exactly should be my step??
