I was married to my ex in Lagos, Nigeria befor he filed for me to come to the us,when we decided to be apart i divored him in nigeria. Is the divorce legal?

Once granted by a court, the divorce is legal. Usually a nisi (more or less temporary) order of divorce is granted. After three months, you should apply to make it absolute. It then becomes final
