Legal Question in Family Law in India
I was married to Miss ISHI MOHINI KUMAR 26 Yrs back at a Gurwara in INDIA.Her name was changed to SIMRAN KAUR BINDRA as per SIKH Rites. We both were/are sikh families. The Gurdwara has issued a marriage certificate incorporating change of name. The marriage has not been registered with the marriage office or the court. We are now residing in a different State in INDIA. Share company Registrar does not recognize the Gurwara marriage certificate as legal document for change of name on the share certificate. Kindly advise
