Legal Question in Family Law in

I have been married for 4 months now and my marriage has not been consumated because of non cooperation from wife. She was also not in talking terms with me. Now she has also left the house and warned myself and my family members to face consequesces under dowry act.

I now want a divorce as early as possible.

What should be my line of action?

Can a divorce application be filed before the 1 year of marriage?

you may do so on the grounds of cruelty. not cooperating in consumation is a cruelty

Yes you can do so by filing divorce case under Sec. 13 Hindu Marriage Act along with Sec. 14 .

She may be unable to consummate marriage for several reasons which may constitute a ground for annulment of marriage.
