Legal Question in Family Law in India

i got married in 2005. then moved to uk with my husband. we are british citizen now. We want divorce- now my question is do we need to divorce in india. if we do get divorce in india then divore is thru indian hindu rule and not by uk law.

My concern is with property i hold in haryana. i think by indian law he has no right on my property but by uk law he has right.

so which would be applicable if we get divorce in india?
