Legal Question in Family Law in India
We are married for the past 8 years and due the business impact with my wifes brother i have asked her brother to move out of the business and that is when my wife started saying me that i have insulted her family and her brother infront of other labor and hence wants to take the revenge for that by listening to their words without listening to my words. Went through the trauma of physical abuse and verbal abuse by the my wife and i stopped taking to her any more even though we are staying in the same place. Now she started threatening me saying that she will see my end with the help of her brother and she is blackmailing me saying that she will take away my Son who is 7 years old away from me. My request is i don't want to either seperate from her or i want to leave my son. I kept aside my ego and i calmed down my self because of our egos i don't want my sons life to be spoiled. He is the only son we have. Seeing the things progressing from her end her brother is encouraging her to spilt from me so that if she can start earning she can support them as they are not at all financially sound because of her brothers mis deeds and because of his drunkenness till he got diagnosed to the stage of liver and kidney failure. Please help me out in retaining this relationship or else like to have the custody of my son.

Visit a marriage counsellor.
If counselling fails, file a FIR against your brother in law for abuse and business fraud.
you may go for mediation and try to settle the matter. in case you are unable to do it, you may seek a lawyer's help in serving appropriate notices.
