Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am married under SMA 1954. I will be moving to Australia permanently.now my question since me n my wife are Australian PRs, will it be a good idea to get our selves registered as husband n wife( getting remarried) in Australia so at to protect myself from the draconian gender biased Indian marital law, which favours only the women( 498a,DV cases etc)

well if there is a problem the marriage under SMA will prevail. she can always file a dvact case in india against you.
