Legal Question in Family Law in India

I got married on 29th June,2012. Since then, I have been facing a lot of issues. My in laws, specially my mother in law had been taunting me time and again, for gold chain, and the arrangement in marriage. Moreover, she never missed a chance to create a scene and literally shout on me, with regard to the various ceremonies that happen after marriage, in which the girl's side give gifts to the boy's family. My brother in law secretly recorded my conversation with my mother, when I used to talk to her on phone, and take my frustration out. I want to get divorced now, as I have often been beaten up by my husband, because of all this. I am not demanding any alumni but, I need my belongings back along with the gifts that my parents gave in the marriage. I also want to ask, if any legal action can be taken against my brother in law, for his act of recording my talks with my mom.
