I married my wife under special marriage act and sent her normally at her parents place and I went back to my state where I am working. I will call her to me as I buy house and get settled is it ilegal to keep her at her parents place or it is compulsory to stay together after registering under special marriage act...

where you register your marriage?
Secondly it is upto you where she resides. IT is not illegal, but it may create problem for you personally.
