if the property of the father is self acquired then it depends wether he wants to give her a share or not. but if he dies intestate than the married woman has a share. if the property is ancestral property then she is entitled to her share.

Hindu Succession Act states that the property of a Hindu male dying intestate would devolve upon the heirs as mentioned in class I of the Act. Sons, daughters, mothers and widows are mentioned under Class I of the Act, among others. Daughters are meant to include all daughters, married or not. With changing times, the government has brought such law that both sons and daughters will have equal rights on ancestor's property and also on father's property, in the absence of a will.
Therefore, a married woman has a claim over her share of her fathers property.
