Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am married since last 10 years and have 2 kids. My wife was always doubtful about any lady came in my contact, whether she is from my office, family relation, or neighbor. There is also lots of disparity in thinking and understanding between us, which leads to made me alone and workaholic. Lot of small things like TV, Mobile and my comfort in loneliness, was also painful to her and she wrangled every time. I was sick of such behavior from her.

Now I am getting in contact with my old female friend, she is suffering from Sickle cell anemia. I am emotionally attach with her and doing whatsoever better for her. Talking with her, living with her, sharing my problem with her made me relax and happy. My attachment with my friend brought new dispute in my married life and now my wife wants me to stop this. But Now I didnt want to hear anymore nonsense from her and keep my life going on being always in contact with my friend without disturbing my Home, my kids and my wife. I definitely didnt want to run away from any of my responsibility. I am and I will always bind to do everything better for my kids and even for my wife (without any affecting sentiment).

My wife is now thinking about putting a case for alimony against me. I will never resist her alimony and maintenance for my kids. I am doing it now and I will do it forever. But my question is

Does she force me to live with her only even if I dont want to stay with her anymore??

My wife thinking about filing a police complaint against me for cheating her. Does she can do it??

Please advice

Try to reconcile with the situation. Your living with another woman may constitute a ground of divorce for your wife. besides, she may also lodge a complaint of 'domestic violence'.
