Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have been married for 16 years. Have two kids of 13 & 9 yrs. Mother in law , widow for 35 yrs staying with us. When her daughter died she took t responsibility of her grand daughter 36 yrs ago. My husband got her married 11 yrs ago. She is now leaving separately with her two kids & has filed for divorce. She is working. Ours have been a troubled marriage. My mother in law & sister in law have always interfered in our relation & my husband has always supported them
They have tortured me emotionally, mentally & at times physically. I started taking tuitions 5 years ago as my husband never used to give me any money for my expenses. Now, my husband takes care of his sister's expenses & I have to earn for myself although he is taking care of household expenses. He expects me share t expenses & I do that just to avoid fights. He is even sleeping in his mother's room from t past one year. I want to claim maintenance becoz if he can take care his sister's expenses then why not mine. I don't want to divorce but I want to live a life of diginty. My sister in law is earning well.

Litigation usually takes away your dignity. You should consider court case only and only as a last resort.

It is a costly and time consuming with uncertain results.
