Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Hi, i am married for 5 years, have 2 sons; 3years 2months and a 10 months old, actually the matter is this i feel my wife is on contineous feeding by my mother in law in our personal life and this thing now getting on my nerves to the extant that i am even thinking about the divorce to the mother of my life lines ;my sons...which i dont want to do. i tried my best to make my wife understand the sensitivity of the matter but till now failed to persuade her ....... is their any legal way that i could get rid of my parents in laws hidden involvement in our lives to avoid the divorce or the divorce is the only option...coz now its getting out of control....plz help.

In such a situation there's no legal provision in our Family Laws to abstain your wife not to meet her parents. But a solution is provided by way of filing a civil suit for permanent injunctions against your in laws not to interfere into the personal matters of your family.

According to Islam a husband is not allowed to stop his wife from meeting her parents even if she desires to meet them in the middle of night.. Dont ruin your home, be kind to your wife, try to be patient and ignore the differences.. [email protected]
