Legal Question in Family Law in India

What is the minimum time to get the divorce filed based on the ground of mental cruelty and desertion (desertion period is 2 years & Overall marriage life is 9 years)? How much maintenance can I claim from my husband if I file the case under sec 125? Please advice.

There is no time limit in court. There is no need to file 125. You can add an application u/s 24 of HMA for interim maintenance. Generally, one third of the salary is granted to wife.
