Legal Question in Family Law in India
After six months of my marriage, my wife states me that to her it is more important to look after her earning and physically fit parents than staying with me. She has an unmarried sister. She is obsessed with her parents who indulge her. My wife wants to spend morr time in her parents home and does noy take care of my distress in her absense. Before marriage she indulged in lovemaking with me for six months and promised to take care of me and my sick parents who treat her as dear daughter. But presently my wife at the encouragement of her family regularly misbehaves with me and threatens to permanently stay at parental home.
I feel myself absolutely cheated in marriage. I am under tremendous mental stress due to conjugal disharmony and cannot concentrate on profession as professor. Isnt it a case of 420 ? If she leaves me, my social prestige as a reputed teacher will be harmed. Who will pay for it? I want restitution of my conjugal rights. I am in deep distress as she often quarrels with me over trivial issues. Please advise me.
Regards, Soumya.
