Legal Question in Family Law in India
My mother and father had married under the Special Marriage Act. My mother died 8 years ago, without a will, when I and my brother were minors. But now both I and my brother are 18+ years of age. My father is still alive. My mother possessed some gold jewellery, of which most were bought by her with her own money, and some were gifted to her by my maternal grandmother. My question is now who should inherit those gold jewellery?
